Cable tie pack Vorel 73893 — 100 pieces, nylon fastening straps
Vorel 73893 is a pack of 100 nylon cable ties designed for general-purpose fastening and neat cable management. Each tie measures 150 x 2.5 mm and is made from PA6.6UL P4V2 modified polyamide (nylon), offering a balance of mechanical strength and environmental resistance. The ties feature evenly spaced serrations and a self-locking head that secures the loop once tightened, providing a reliable hold for wiring, hoses and small objects up to the stated bundle diameter.
These cable ties provide enhanced tear resistance and very good mechanical properties due to the modified polyamide formula. They have increased resistance to UV radiation as well as resistance to grease and oil, making them suitable for indoor and some outdoor applications. The close serration spacing allows precise loop adjustment, while the self-locking mechanism prevents accidental loosening.
Insert the free end of the cable tie through the head and pull until the loop tightens around the bundle or object. Adjust the loop to the required circumference; the serrations engage the locking pawl to hold the position. For a neat finish, trim the excess tail close to the head. Use appropriate cutting tools to avoid damaging bundled cables or nearby surfaces.
Use these nylon cable ties within their mechanical limits and the specified maximum bundle diameter. Avoid exposing them to sustained high temperatures beyond typical operating ranges for PA6.6 materials. For outdoor prolonged exposure in harsh climates, consider periodic inspection or selecting ties specified explicitly for prolonged UV and temperature extremes. When securing critical or safety-related components, follow applicable industry or vehicle manufacturer guidelines and use appropriate-rated fasteners.
