Cable ties Vorel 73894 — pack of 100 nylon cable fasteners
Vorel 73894 cable ties are a pack of 100 nylon fasteners designed for bundling and securing cables, wires and small hoses. Each tie measures 200 x 2.5 mm, is black and manufactured from a modified PA6.6UL P4V2 polyamide (nylon) that increases mechanical strength and resistance to environmental factors. With a maximum tearing force of 8 kg and a recommended maximum bundle diameter of 50 mm, these cable ties provide a straightforward solution for organized cable management and temporary fastening tasks in homes, workshops and offices.
The modified polyamide formulation gives these ties enhanced tear resistance, very good mechanical properties and improved UV resistance compared to standard nylon ties. They also offer resistance to grease and oil, which helps maintain integrity in workshop or industrial environments. Evenly spaced serrations on one side permit precise loop tightening, and the self-locking head secures the tie so it cannot be loosened without damage, ensuring reliable fastening over time.
Insert the free end of the cable tie through the head and pull until the loop reaches the required tightness around the cables, hose or object. Adjust carefully to avoid over-tightening which could damage cables or hoses; the serrations permit precise sizing. Once fully engaged, the self-locking mechanism prevents the tie from retracting without being cut. Trim the excess tail close to the head for a neat finish and to reduce snagging.
For lasting results, choose the appropriate tie length based on the maximum bundle diameter and avoid exceeding the stated tearing force. Use in environments exposed to direct sunlight or oils is acceptable due to enhanced UV and grease resistance, but for critical electrical installations or permanent outdoor use consider application-specific fasteners. When removing, cut the tie with scissors or a utility knife to prevent damage to underlying cables.
