Cable ties Vorel 73896, nylon, 100 pcs pack, general-purpose fastening
Vorel 73896 cable ties are nylon fastening straps supplied in a pack of 100 pieces. Each tie measures 370 x 4.8 mm and is made from modified polyamide PA6.6UL P4V2 (nylon), designed for bundling cables, securing hoses and general-purpose fastening tasks. The ties feature a self-locking head and evenly spaced serrations that allow precise loop adjustment. With a maximum bundle diameter of 100 mm and a tensile strength up to 22 kg, these black ties are suitable for household, workshop and light industrial use where durable, easy-to-install ties are required.
Vorel 73896 ties use a specially modified polyamide formula that improves tear resistance and mechanical properties compared with standard nylon ties. They provide increased resistance to UV radiation as well as resistance to grease and oil, extending usable life in exposed and oily environments. The evenly spaced serrations and self-locking head ensure secure, irreversible fastening once tightened, while the narrow serration pitch enables accurate adjustment to the circumference of the bundled component.
Insert the tail of the cable tie through the self-locking head and pull until the loop tightens around the cables or item to be secured. Adjust the loop precisely using the serrations to achieve the desired fit; once engaged the lock prevents reopening without damaging the tie. Trim any excess tail flush with the head or leave a small tail if temporary removal is anticipated. For best results ensure the bundle diameter does not exceed the stated maximum of 100 mm.
For prolonged outdoor use or direct exposure to strong sunlight, assess application conditions despite improved UV resistance. Avoid using near strong heat sources where continuous temperatures exceed typical nylon limits. For electrical installations, route ties to avoid undue compression of cable insulation and follow applicable electrical standards. When higher tensile strength or heat resistance is required, select a tie with appropriate material properties.
