Masking tape Vorel 75130 — 20 m length, 38 mm width
Vorel 75130 masking tape — 20 m length, 38 mm width — is a self-adhesive tape designed for clean paint lines, surface protection and temporary fixing during painting, plastering and renovation. The roll combines a tearable coated polyethylene backing with a synthetic hotmelt adhesive that delivers reliable bonding on a variety of substrates both indoors and outdoors. Its construction provides high UV resistance and temperature stability for routine DIY and professional applications.
The tape offers good adhesion on rough and smooth plaster, stone, brick and wood, reducing the risk of paint bleed and overspray. Its coated polyethylene backing is easy to tear by hand for fast, single-person masking, while the synthetic hotmelt adhesive maintains grip without leaving excessive residue when removed under recommended conditions. The material's temperature resistance up to 75 °C and elevated UV resistance broaden its suitability for exterior and interior works.
Clean and dry the surface before applying the tape, removing dust, loose particles and grease to ensure proper adhesion. Unroll the required length, press the tape firmly along edges and transitions to form a continuous seal, and smooth down with a finger or a flat tool to improve contact. Remove the tape after paint or plaster has partially set but before full curing where applicable; pull back slowly at a low angle to reduce the chance of lifting paint or leaving adhesive residue.
For best results, store the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight before use. On freshly painted or delicate surfaces, test a short tape length in an inconspicuous area to confirm clean removal. Avoid prolonged exposure on surfaces above the specified temperature resistance and limit outdoor exposure time if extreme UV conditions are expected.
