How to use

Fit a 4.8 mm round file into the guide and position the guide against the cutter so the file contacts the cutter face at the intended filing angle. Apply steady, even strokes along the cutter with light downward pressure; lift the file on the return stroke. Work tooth by tooth, maintaining the same number of strokes and pressure for each tooth to achieve uniform sharpness. Recheck depth gauges and overall chain tension after sharpening and perform any required adjustments before use.
