The Wago 750-963 D-Sub connector is a professional-grade component engineered for reliable fieldbus communication, specifically tailored for CANopen network applications. This connector facilitates the seamless integration of CANopen participants into a bus line, ensuring stable and secure signal transmission within industrial automation environments. Housed in a durable grey casing, it is built to withstand the rigors of industrial use while maintaining high connectivity standards.
This connector offers significant operational benefits, including two horizontal cable entries that support both input and output connections for efficient bus wiring. It features the maintenance-free CAGE CLAMP connection technology, which allows for quick and secure wire termination using locking slides. Additionally, the integrated, externally operable switch allows for the convenient activation or deactivation of the bus termination resistor, simplifying network configuration and maintenance tasks without the need to open the housing.
This connector is specifically designed for CANopen network applications and may not be compatible with other fieldbus protocols or non-standard communication interfaces. It is rated with an IP20 protection level, meaning it is not suitable for environments exposed to moisture, dust, or harsh outdoor conditions without additional protective enclosures.
To install the connector, insert the bus cables into the horizontal entries and secure them using the CAGE CLAMP locking slides. When connecting the first and last participants in the bus network, ensure the external termination switch is set to the ON position to engage the termination resistor. For all intermediate bus participants, the switch must be set to the OFF position to ensure proper network signal integrity.
