Utility Knife WEDO 78 845 Black Silver is a spring-loaded safety cutter designed for controlled cutting tasks. The blade retracts automatically when it loses contact with the material, and a three-position depth adjuster lets you limit the cut to 9 mm, 15 mm or 25 mm to reduce the risk of damaging package contents. The metal handle with rubber grip is ergonomically shaped and includes a hanging device; the blade slide on the back of the handle allows use by both right- and left-handed users. How to use

Set the desired cutting depth using the setting wheel to 9, 15 or 25 mm before starting. Hold the ergonomically shaped handle with a secure grip and position the blade on the material; the blade will remain extended while in contact and retract automatically when the cut is finished. Do not hold the slide while cutting. To change blades, open the safety catch and replace with an SK5 spare blade following the manufacturer’s instructions.

Usage recommendations

For safe operation, select the lowest depth that achieves the required cut to minimise the risk to package contents. Replace blades regularly to maintain cutting performance and always store the knife out of reach of children.
