WELL telephone handset adapter Mairdi MRD-QD002(A) — RJ9 (Yealink) connector
WELL Mairdi MRD-QD002(A) is a telephone handset adapter with an RJ9 connector designed to connect WELL Mairdi headsets to desk phones that use Yealink-compatible handset ports. The adapter provides a stable physical interface for audio transmission between a handset-style headset and office or home telephony devices. With a compact inline design and a short cable length, it supports plug-and-play connection without additional configuration.
The adapter enables direct compatibility between QD-style headset plugs and RJ9 handset jacks, reducing the need for separate handset modules or complicated wiring. Its lightweight construction and molded connectors deliver a reliable mechanical fit and consistent audio contact. The cable’s 0.8 m length balances reach and cable management for typical desk setups, while the simple RJ9 termination makes it straightforward to install and replace.
Disconnect the handset from the phone’s handset jack, then insert the adapter’s RJ9 plug into the phone’s handset port. Attach the QD-style plug from the WELL Mairdi headset into the adapter’s QD connector until it clicks into place. Verify the physical connection and place a test call to confirm audio is routed through the headset. To remove, depress the QD latch and gently pull the headset plug from the adapter, then unplug the RJ9 from the phone if needed.
Use the adapter in a clean, dry environment and avoid sharp bends or excessive tension on the cable to preserve connector integrity. For frequent headset swapping, check the QD latch for secure engagement and occasionally inspect the RJ9 plug for wear. If audio quality degrades, test with an alternate handset cable or headset to isolate the issue.
