WELL adapter Mairdi MRD-QD011 — 2.5 mm jack reduction for Mairdi devices
WELL Mairdi MRD-QD011 is a compact reduction adapter that provides a 2.5 mm jack interface for compatible Mairdi devices. It converts a Mairdi QD (Plantronics-type) connector to a 2.5 mm male jack, allowing headsets, microphones and other accessories with a 2.5 mm plug to be used with Mairdi equipment or DECT and VoIP telephones that accept a 2.5 mm connection. The adapter is supplied with an approximately 0.8 m cable to bridge short distances between devices and connected accessories.
The WELL adapter MRD-QD011 offers straightforward connector conversion without altering signal paths, maintaining reliable audio connection between headset and phone or other devices with a 2.5 mm jack. Its Plantronics-type QD plug provides a quick-disconnect interface for compatible Mairdi headsets, while the 2.5 mm jack end supports broad compatibility with DECT phones and other devices that use this common connector size. The compact cable length reduces clutter and keeps the connection tidy on a desk or workstation.
Plug the QD connector into the matching QD socket on a compatible WELL Mairdi headset or device until it clicks into place. Insert the 2.5 mm jack into the 2.5 mm audio port of the target phone or accessory. Verify the physical connection is secure and test audio by placing a call or using the headset microphone and listening for clear output. To disconnect, gently pull the QD plug from the headset and remove the 2.5 mm jack from the device.
Use the adapter with devices known to have a 2.5 mm audio port; avoid forcing the jack into incompatible sockets. Keep the cable free from sharp bends and avoid excessive pulling to preserve connector integrity. For best audio performance, ensure both headset and phone firmware or settings support external headset operation.
