HDMI cable Goobay 52766 5 m
The Goobay 52766 HDMI cable 5 m provides a single-cable connection for high-definition audio and video between source devices and displays. With HDMI Type A connectors on both ends and a 5 metre length, the cable is intended for home entertainment systems where a longer reach is required. It supports a 48 Gbit/s data transfer rate and Audio Return Channel (ARC), is compatible with 3D video, and features copper-plated contacts and a black outer jacket for a discreet appearance in living rooms and media cabinets.
This HDMI cable offers high bandwidth up to 48 Gbit/s for modern 4K/8K-capable signals and formats that require increased data throughput. Copper-plated contacts improve conductivity and reduce signal loss at connector interfaces. The inclusion of Audio Return Channel (ARC) simplifies audio routing between display and sound system without extra cables. A 5 m length provides flexibility for device placement while the standard HDMI Type A connectors ensure wide compatibility with TVs, receivers, game consoles and media players.
Connect one HDMI Type A end to the HDMI output of your source device and the other end to the HDMI input on your display or AV receiver. Ensure both devices are powered on and set the TV and audio system to the appropriate HDMI input. If using ARC, enable ARC or HDMI-CEC settings on both the TV and the sound system to allow audio to travel from the TV back to the receiver or soundbar. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it away from power cables where possible to minimise interference.
For reliable performance, avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources. When connecting high-resolution sources, verify that connected devices support the intended resolution and refresh rates to fully utilise the 48 Gbit/s capacity. If AV control via a single remote is desired, enable HDMI-CEC in device settings alongside ARC.
