Goobay XLR Cable 20 m Male to Female Audio Lead

The Goobay XLR Cable 20 m Male to Female Audio Lead is a professional 20-meter audio cable designed for reliable signal transmission in studio and live sound applications. This cable features secure connectors for microphones, mixers, and amplifiers, ensuring crystal-clear sound quality and durable performance for musicians and audio technicians.

Advantages

This XLR audio lead provides extended reach with its 20-meter length, making it highly suitable for large stages, auditoriums, and spacious recording studios. The durable construction protects the internal wiring from physical stress and interference, ensuring uninterrupted signal transmission. Secure locking mechanisms on the connectors prevent accidental disconnection during performances or recording sessions, while the high-quality shielding minimizes hum and electromagnetic interference for pristine audio clarity.

Suitable for

• Connecting microphones to mixing consoles
• Linking audio mixers to power amplifiers
• Stage performances and live sound reinforcement
• Studio recording sessions requiring long cable runs

When it may not be suitable

This cable may not be ideal for short-distance connections where excess cable length could cause clutter on stage or in the studio. Additionally, applications requiring specialized digital network protocols rather than standard analog XLR audio signals will need a different type of cable.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 20 meters
• Connectors: XLR Male to XLR Female
• Application: Professional audio, studio, and live sound

How to use

Uncoil the cable carefully to avoid twisting or forming kinks before setting up your audio equipment. Insert the male XLR connector into the corresponding output port of your audio source, such as a microphone or mixer, until the locking mechanism clicks securely. Connect the female XLR end to the input port of your amplifier, active speaker, or secondary mixer. Ensure all connections are fully seated before powering on your audio system to prevent sudden pops or signal distortion. When finished, disconnect by pressing the release tab on the connectors and coil the cable loosely for storage.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your audio equipment utilizes standard 3-pin XLR connections
• Measure the required distance between devices to ensure 20 meters is the correct length
• Assess whether analog balanced XLR signal transmission meets your audio setup requirements

For optimal longevity and performance, store the cable in a dry environment and avoid tightly wrapping it around sharp objects or bending the connectors at acute angles.
