VGA Cable Goobay CAK SVGA XGA 5000 15M/15M 50m
VGA cable with 15‑pin HD plug on both ends, designed for transmitting analogue RGB video signals over long distances. The Goobay CAK SVGA XGA 5000 measures 50 m and combines three coaxial RGB lines with seven sync wires, providing a cable solution for displays, projectors and PCs that use D‑Sub (VGA) connections. The construction includes double screening and two ferrite cores to reduce interference and maintain video quality across the full length.
The double screened design and two ferrite cores help suppress electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity for analogue VGA transmissions. Three coaxial RGB conductors with separate sync wires support clearer colour separation and stable synchronisation. The 15‑pin HD (D‑Sub) connectors on both ends ensure compatibility with standard VGA ports used in many monitors, projectors and graphic cards.
Connect one 15‑pin HD plug to the VGA output of the source device (PC, laptop or other) and the other 15‑pin HD plug to the VGA input of the display device (monitor, projector). Ensure connectors are properly aligned and tighten any thumbscrews to secure the connection. For best results, avoid sharp bends and do not run the cable in parallel with high‑power electrical cables to reduce potential interference.
For optimal signal quality over 50 m, keep cable runs as short and direct as possible, avoid coil loops, and use the ferrite cores in their intended positions. If image quality is insufficient due to long analogue runs or high resolution demands, consider a signal booster, active VGA extender, or a digital alternative such as HDMI/DisplayPort with appropriate converters.
