Socket wrench Wera 8000 B
The Socket wrench Wera 8000 B is a 3/8" drive ratchet designed for precise and efficient screwdriving. It features 72 fine-pitched teeth for a 5° return angle, a freely pivoting ratchet head with lockable positions, and an ergonomically shaped Kraftform handle combining hard and soft zones for a secure, low-fatigue grip. The tool accepts 3/8" square sockets and 3/8" adaptors with ball lock and can be used as a conventional screwdriver when an adaptor and bit are attached.
The 72-tooth mechanism allows short swing arcs for work in confined spaces while the pivoting head with a slide switch locks the head in predefined positions (0°, 15° and 90°) to prevent slipping. The flywheel design and rotation-symmetric Kraftform handle with a free-turning sleeve enable rapid screwdriving and quick hand repositioning. Hard handle materials reduce skin sticking and the softer anti-slip zones transfer high torque with minimal loss.
Select a compatible 3/8" socket or adaptor and attach it to the square drive until the ball lock engages. For screwdriver use, fit an adaptor and a bit at the 0° head position. Set the ratchet head angle as needed and lock it with the slide switch. Operate the ratchet with steady wrist motion; the flywheel design and free-turning sleeve facilitate rapid rotation and repositioning of the hand when changing direction or reach.
For safe and efficient operation, keep the ratchet head clean of debris and ensure the ball lock on sockets or adaptors is functioning before use. Use appropriate-sized sockets and avoid applying torque beyond the tool’s intended capacity.
