Nut Driver Bit Wera 8790 HMC HF Zyklop
The Wera 8790 HMC HF Zyklop nut driver bit is designed for efficient fastening of hexagon drive screws and nuts. It has a hexagonal shank of 25.4 / 2 mm (1/2") and a length of 37 mm. Made from chrome vanadium with a brushed chrome-plated finish, the bit is suitable for both manual and non-impact machine applications and includes a holding function that secures screws for use in confined or hard-to-reach areas.
The bit features two flexible locking balls and a permanently elastic, heat-shrunk tubing reinforced by a steel ring to protect against mechanical wear. Knurls at the base provide precision handling during manual operations and a ball intercept ring enables smooth insertion and removal. Colour coding and a large stamp on the tool allow quick identification of profile and size, and the design supports both hand and non-impact power tool use.
Select the correctly sized Wera 8790 HMC HF Zyklop bit by matching the colour coding or stamped size to the fastener. Insert the bit into the corresponding 1/2" drive socket or ratchet. For manual fastening, use the knurled base for precise turning; for machine use, operate only with non-impact power tools. The holding function will secure the screw or nut—ensure the locking balls engage before moving the assembly into place.
Use only with non-impact power tools when operating with a machine. Keep the heat-shrunk tubing and steel ring clean from debris to maintain reliable holding performance. Store bits dry to avoid corrosion of the chrome-plated finish.
