Socket Wera 8790 HMB
The Wera 8790 HMB Socket is a manual and machine socket (ISO 2725 part 3) suitable for both hand and powered operations. It has a 3/8" drive and a metric external hexagon socket designed for use on hex screws and bolts. The tool is made of dull-chromed chrome-vanadium and includes a ball stop groove and a slip-proof surface for secure grip even with oily hands. The "Take it easy" tool finder with colour coding by size enables quick visual identification of the required socket.
The socket supports both manual and machine use according to ISO 2725 part 3 standards. Colour-coded size marking speeds up tool selection and reduces downtime. The dull-chromed chrome-vanadium construction provides corrosion resistance and dependable strength. A slip-proof surface improves handling when working with lubricants, and the ball stop groove helps retain fasteners on the tool.
Select the correct colour-coded socket size using the "Take it easy" tool finder, fit the socket onto a compatible 3/8" drive ratchet, extension or machine adapter, and engage it fully on the hexagon fastener. Use steady torque appropriate for the fastener and application. The ball stop groove can be used to hold the fastener on the socket during positioning, and the slip-proof surface helps maintain grip when hands are oily.
For long service life, clean the socket after use, avoid excessive impact loads beyond the tool's rating, and store it dry to reduce corrosion. Verify compatibility with your ratchet or machine adapter and use appropriate torque settings for the fasteners.
