manual screwdriver Wera 05006176001
The Wera 05006176001 manual screwdriver is a 205 mm standard screwdriver designed for precision work and comfortable handling. It features a multi-component Kraftform Plus handle with hard gripping zones for fast, low-fatigue working and soft zones for efficient torque transfer. The tool is individually tested in a water bath at 10,000 volts to ensure safe use at the permissible voltage of 1,000 volts. Colour coding and size stamping on the handle allow rapid identification. A hexagonal anti-roll feature prevents the screwdriver from rolling away on the workplace.
The Kraftform Plus handle combines hard and soft zones to allow high working speeds with reduced hand fatigue while ensuring good torque transmission. VDE testing at 10,000 V provides certified insulation for safe use up to 1,000 V. Colour coding and size stamping enable quick tool selection, and the hexagonal anti-roll geometry keeps the screwdriver stationary on flat surfaces.
Select the correct Torx size indicated on the handle by the colour coding and size stamp. Insert the tip into the screw head, apply axial pressure and turn the handle with controlled force. For electrical applications, always ensure the tool and the surrounding environment are dry and follow applicable safety procedures; the screwdriver is insulated and tested for use up to 1,000 V but should be used only by trained personnel when working on live circuits.
Store the screwdriver in a dry place and inspect the insulation and tip before use. Replace the tool if the insulation is damaged or the tip is worn to preserve safety and performance.
