Screwdriver Wera 165 iS PZ/S VDE
The Wera 165 iS PZ/S VDE screwdriver is a VDE-certified hand tool designed for safe, precise work on electrical installations. It has a 33 mm wide handle and an overall length of 178 mm. The tip combines a slotted and Pozidriv profile for work on terminal blocks, fuse boxes, switches and relays, and the tool is individually tested in a water bath at 10,000 volts to allow safe use at the permissible voltage of 1,000 volts. A hexagonal anti-roll feature prevents the screwdriver from rolling away on the workplace.
The Kraftform Plus multi-component handle provides hard gripping zones for fast, low-effort turning and soft zones for effective torque transfer; the combination profile (slotted and Pozidriv) increases versatility for electrical tasks. VDE certification and individual 10,000 V water-bath testing ensure reliable electrical safety. The hexagonal handle section prevents rolling and improves workplace safety and convenience.
Select the Pozidriv or slotted engagement with the screw head and place the tip squarely into the slot or cross. Apply steady axial pressure and turn the handle using the soft and hard zones of the Kraftform Plus grip to transfer torque efficiently. For electrical work, confirm that the tool’s insulation is intact before use and adhere to applicable safety procedures for live or potentially live circuits.
Inspect the screwdriver for visible damage to the insulation before each use; do not use if the insulating sheath is cracked or missing. Use only within the rated permissible voltage (1,000 V) and follow local electrical safety regulations and personal protective equipment requirements.
