T-handle hex key Wera 05023351001
T-handle hex key Wera 05023351001 is a metric hex key with a long arm of 10 cm and a short arm of 2 cm. The T-handle shape provides high torque transmission and a comfortable grip that fills the palm, while the short and long arms give access and leverage for a range of fastening tasks. Blades feature a special surface treatment for increased corrosion protection and precise fit in hex screw heads. The tool includes a holding function (HF) that secures the hexagon socket screw on the tool during positioning.
The ergonomic T-handle design reduces friction losses between hand and handle and enables transmission of high torque in difficult tightening and loosening situations. Rounded handle recesses ensure safe finger placement and full-hand contact for stable operation. Specially treated blades improve corrosion resistance and maintain an accurate fit in the screw head, while the holding function prevents the screw from slipping off the tool.
Select the properly sized hex key for the hexagon socket screw. Insert the short or long arm into the screw head as required for access and leverage. Hold the T-handle with the palm to apply torque; use the long arm for greater reach and the short arm for higher torque. The holding function will retain the screw on the tool for easier positioning—ensure the screw is seated before applying full torque.
For best performance, keep the blade and screw head clean and free of debris. Store the tool dry to preserve the corrosion-resistant surface treatment. Do not apply impact forces or use the tool as a pry bar; use the correct size to avoid rounding the screw head.
