The Wera 467 TORX L-torx key is a single-piece tool designed for precise fastening and high torque transmission. Its T20 size, 4.5 mm diameter and black finish deliver a compact, durable tool for tightening and loosening TORX® screws in demanding situations. The T-handle profile allows the palm to apply force evenly while the tool’s holding function (HF) secures the screw on the bit. Blades have a special surface treatment for enhanced corrosion protection and an optimal fit in the screw head.
The ergonomic T-handle shape fills the palm to reduce friction losses and enable efficient torque transfer. Soft rounded recesses guide the fingers for safe handling. The built-in holding function (HF) holds TORX® screws securely on the tool during positioning. Specially treated blades increase corrosion resistance and improve contact with the screw head for reliable engagement.
Select the T20 tip and position the TORX® screw on the tool’s tip; the holding function (HF) will retain the screw. Place the T-handle in your palm and wrap your fingers into the rounded recesses for a secure grip. Apply steady torque by turning the handle clockwise to tighten or counterclockwise to loosen. Use controlled force to avoid over-torquing and ensure the bit remains aligned with the screw head for optimal engagement.
For longer service life, keep the blade clean and dry and avoid exposing the tool to aggressive chemicals. Inspect the bit and screw head for wear before use; replace the key if the fit becomes loose or damaged.
