The Wera 780 C/1 nut driver bit is an adaptor that converts a 1/2" square drive to accept 1/4" hexagon bits. Made in the Czech Republic, it is designed to fit hexagonal fasteners and to be used with bits that conform to DIN ISO 1173-C 6.3. The adaptor combines a 25.4 / 2 mm (1/2") square shank with a compact 35 mm overall length and a lightweight 73 g construction for convenient handling in professional environments.
The adaptor provides secure engagement between a 1/2" drive tool and 1/4" hexagon bits, reducing slippage and wear on fasteners. Its short 35 mm length allows access in confined spaces while maintaining torque transfer efficiency. Insert a compatible 1/4" hex bit into the hex end of the adaptor until it seats securely. Fit the 1/2" square end into the corresponding tool, such as a ratchet, breaker bar or socket handle.
