Screwdriver bit Wera PH2 50 mm, Phillips tip, 1 piece (05056520001)
Single Wera screwdriver bit PH2, 50 mm long with a Phillips tip, designed for precise engagement with cross-head (Philips) screws. The bit is intended for use in bit holders, manual screwdrivers and power drivers that accept standard 1/4" hexagonal bits. Manufactured with hardened steel and a tip profile that ensures reliable seating, this Wera PH2 50 mm bit delivers controlled torque transfer for assembly, repair and maintenance tasks requiring a mid-length bit.
The Wera PH2 50 mm bit offers durable construction for repeated use and reduced wear on the tip. Its precise Phillips geometry improves fit with compatible fasteners, lowering the risk of cam-out and rounding. The 1/4" hex shank is compatible with common holders and quick-change chucks, enabling fast tool changes and stable power transmission. The 50 mm length provides a balance between reach and control in confined or moderately recessed screw locations.
Insert the 1/4" hex shank into a compatible bit holder, manual screwdriver handle or power driver chuck until it seats securely. Select the PH2 tip for Phillips cross-head screws of the corresponding size and align the tip with the screw head. Apply steady axial pressure and rotate at an appropriate speed or torque setting to drive or remove the screw. For power drivers, start at low speed to ensure proper seating, then increase speed or torque as required.
Use the bit with compatible holders conforming to DIN ISO 1173-D 6.3 where applicable; avoid excessive side loads and torque beyond recommended limits to prevent premature wear. Inspect the tip before use and replace the bit if the tip shows rounding or damage to maintain secure screw engagement.
