Combination Wrench Wera 05073282001
The Wera 05073282001 combination ratchet wrench, size 7/16", is a single-piece imperial tool made from high-performance chrome molybdenum steel with a nickel-chrome coating for enhanced corrosion protection. At 165 mm overall width, this wrench combines an open-end and ratcheting ring end in one compact design and includes a replaceable metal plate in the jaw for a secure holding function.
This wrench provides a secure grip on hexagon socket screws, bolts and nuts thanks to a replaceable metal plate with hardened teeth and a double-hex geometry that reduces the risk of slipping. An integrated limit stop prevents slippage around the bolt head and allows higher torque transfer. The open end has a short return angle of 30° to minimise flipping, while the ring end features an 80-tooth fine-tooth ratchet mechanism for use in confined spaces. The specially forged geometry ensures reliable torque transfer and long-term strength.
Select the 7/16" combination wrench and place the appropriate end onto the hex fastener. Use the open end where a short return angle is needed and the ring end when ratcheting action is advantageous. Engage the replaceable metal plate in the jaw to hold nuts or bolts in position while you start threading. Apply torque smoothly and avoid sudden impacts; the integrated limit stop and forged geometry help maintain a secure connection during operation.
For long service life, keep the wrench clean and dry, and store it in a tool organiser or toolbox. Replace the metal jaw plate if its teeth show excessive wear. Do not use the wrench as a hammer or pry bar and avoid exceeding manufacturer-recommended torque limits for fasteners.
