Adjustable Torque Screwdrivers Wera Series 7400 Kraftform ESD
Adjustable Torque Screwdrivers Wera Series 7400 Kraftform ESD provide precise torque control for delicate electronic work. These screwdrivers combine ESD protection, a multi‑component Kraftform handle and Rapidaptor quick‑release technology to support efficient, careful assembly and maintenance of sensitive components.
The torque setting range of 0.1–3.0 Nm allows accurate tightening for small fasteners while the infinitely adjustable mechanism enables easy selection of the required torque without additional tools. The ESD protection reduces the risk of electrostatic discharge damage. Rapidaptor quick‑release chuck enables fast bit changes and unlimited torque mode helps to loosen seized screws. The Kraftform handle with hard and soft zones improves grip ergonomics and supports higher working speeds with reduced hand strain.
Set the required torque by rotating the adjustment mechanism until the scale shows the desired value; the scale is easy to read for fast, repeatable settings. Insert a compatible 1/4" hex bit into the Rapidaptor chuck and use the screwdriver for tightening. If a screw is seized, switch to the unlimited torque position to apply higher force for loosening. Follow the device and component manufacturer's torque recommendations when working on electronic assemblies.
Use the screwdriver in an electrostatic safe work area and wear appropriate ESD protection (wrist strap, ESD mat) when handling sensitive components. Regularly check the torque accuracy according to Wera's calibration guidance if precise torque application is critical.
