Tool, Wera, 7430 Single
The Wera 7430 Single torque screwdriver is a precision hand tool made in the Czech Republic for controlled tightening and loosening of screws. It features a multi-component Kraftform handle and a Rapidaptor quick-release system that accepts 1/4" hex bits in accordance with DIN ISO 1173-C 6.3 / E 6.3 (ISO 1173). The tool dimensions are approximately 155 mm length, 37 mm width and 37 mm height, offering a compact, durable design for professional and hobby use.
Variable torque setting provides accurate torque control with an easy-to-read scale and audible click confirmation. The torque value can be adjusted simply without special tools. Rapidaptor quick-release technology enables fast bit changes and the unlimited torque mode allows loosening of seized screws. The multi-component Kraftform handle combines hard and soft zones to support efficient work and user comfort.
Select the required torque value on the scale and secure the setting using the screwdriver's adjustment mechanism. Insert a compatible 1/4" hex bit into the Rapidaptor holder until it locks. Apply the screwdriver to the screw and tighten until the audible click indicates the preset torque has been reached. For loosening, switch to unlimited-torque mode and turn until the screw is released. Regularly check the scale setting before each critical fastening operation.
Use bits that conform to DIN ISO 1173 and keep the Rapidaptor interface free of debris. Verify torque settings periodically and avoid using the tool beyond its specified torque range to maintain accuracy and longevity.
