Adaptor Wera 870/1
Adaptor Wera 870/1 is a compact tool shaft designed for nutsetters and similar fastening accessories. It has a 1/4" (6.35 mm) square output head and a 1/4" (25.4 / 4 mm) hexagon shank, with an overall length of 25 mm and an 8 mm diameter. Weighing approximately 8 g and sold individually, this adaptor provides a precise connection between driver and bit for light to medium fastening tasks.
The Wera 870/1 adaptor combines a standard 1/4" square output with a 1/4" hexagon shank for broad compatibility with nutsetters and drivers. Its short 25 mm length and 8 g weight make it easy to handle in confined spaces and reduce rotational play. Manufactured by Wera, it is supplied as a single piece for straightforward replacement or addition to an existing tool set.
Insert the 1/4" hexagon shank into a compatible driver or drill chuck designed for 1/4" hex bits. Attach a nutsetter or 1/4" square-socket accessory to the 1/4" square output head. Ensure the connection is seated fully before applying torque, and operate the driver at appropriate speed and torque settings for the fastener and material.
Check compatibility with your driver and nutsetter dimensions before use. Do not exceed the recommended torque for the nutsetter or fasteners to avoid damage to the adaptor. Inspect the adaptor for wear before each use and replace if deformed or excessively worn.
