Wrench Wera 05023461001 Ratchet 1/4" Drive Black Green
The Wera 05023461001 Ratchet 1/4" Drive Black Green is a compact ratchet wrench designed for precision fastening tasks. Weighing 118 g and featuring a 1/4" square drive, this tool combines a finely toothed integrated ratchet mechanism with an ergonomic handle shaped to fit the palm for efficient, low-fatigue operation. The ratchet mechanism is fully embedded in the handle and offers 80 teeth with a 4.5° return angle, allowing controlled screwdriving without frequent repositioning. A reversing lever enables quick direction changes in one-hand operation, and the bit holder supports bits with a 1/4" external hexagon drive in accordance with DIN ISO 1173-C 6.3 and E 6.3. Rapidaptor technology facilitates fast, secure bit changes.
The finely toothed ratchet (80 teeth) and small return angle reduce the need to reposition the tool, improving speed and precision. The fully embedded ratchet mechanism and ergonomic handle design provide comfortable grip and even pressure distribution across the hand, minimising friction loss and user fatigue. The reversing lever allows easy switching between clockwise and counterclockwise operation with one hand. Compatibility with standard 1/4" hex bits and Rapidaptor quick-change technology increases versatility and workflow efficiency.
Select a compatible 1/4" hex bit and insert it into the Rapidaptor bit holder until it locks. Place the square drive onto the fastener and operate the ratchet in the required direction using the reversing lever to change between clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. Use short controlled strokes to take advantage of the 4.5° return angle for work in restricted spaces. When finished, pull the bit from the Rapidaptor holder to remove it; the embedded ratchet mechanism requires no additional setup or maintenance for standard use.
For best results, use bits that conform to DIN ISO 1173-C 6.3 or E 6.3 and apply steady, moderate force rather than abrupt impacts. Regularly inspect bits and the Rapidaptor holder for wear, and avoid using the ratchet as a hammer or pry bar to maintain mechanism longevity.
