T-handle hex key Wiha 334
The Wiha 334 T-handle hex key is a single-piece metric hex key designed for precise fastening and loosening of hex screws. It combines a chrome-vanadium, through-hardened, nickel-plated blade with a Wiha Classic T-handle to deliver controlled torque in a compact, lightweight tool weighing approximately 23 g. The tool is suitable for tasks that require accurate torque transfer with minimal effort, in professional and hobbyist environments.
The chrome-vanadium blade is through-hardened and nickel-plated for corrosion resistance and durable edge retention. The Classic T-handle design gives a comfortable grip and efficient torque transfer, enabling higher torque with less wrist strain. Being a single-piece tool, it offers good alignment between handle and blade and reduced chance of joint failure.
Select the hex key size that matches the screw head, insert the blade fully into the screw recess, and hold the T-handle to apply steady torque. For higher torque, use both hands on the T-handle bar; for clearance or precision, use the tool from the shaft end. Ensure the blade is squarely engaged to avoid rounding the screw head.
Use the Wiha 334 for metric hex screws only, avoid using the tool as a lever for prying, and keep the blade clean and free of debris. Store in a dry place to preserve the nickel plating; inspect the blade before use and replace if worn or damaged.
