Voltage Tester Screwdriver Wiha 255-3
The Wiha 255-3 Voltage Tester Screwdriver is a compact tool for detecting alternating voltages in the low-voltage range up to 250 V with respect to earth potential. It complies with DIN 57680/-6 and VDE 0680-6 standards, is GS tested and CE marked. The tester has a chrome-vanadium steel blade that is through-hardened and nickel-coated, and a transparent handle with a clip for visibility and convenient storage.
The chrome-vanadium blade provides durability and reliable contact during testing. The transparent handle allows visual inspection of the internal indicator and includes a clip for secure carrying. The tester is lightweight and compact, suitable for use in confined spaces. Compliance with DIN, VDE, GS and CE standards ensures it meets recognised safety and quality requirements for voltage testing up to 250 V.
Hold the insulated portion of the transparent handle and clip the tester as needed for storage. To test for voltage, place the metal blade tip on the conductor or contact to be tested while ensuring the tester is referenced to earth (for example by touching the designated contact point on the handle if applicable). Observe the internal indicator through the transparent handle to determine presence of alternating voltage up to 250 V. Do not use the tester on circuits exceeding the specified voltage range and follow applicable safety procedures when working live.
Use only for the specified AC voltage range up to 250 V relative to earth, inspect the tester for damage before each use, and ensure hands and work environment are dry. Replace the tool if the insulation, blade or handle is damaged. Follow local safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment when testing live circuits.
