Tool Wiha 832-39 Black White
The Wiha 832-39 Black White is a versatile hand tool designed for a range of light construction and landscaping tasks. Constructed with a powder-coated malleable cast iron housing and an ergonomic hickory shaft, the tool balances durability with user comfort. It includes interchangeable black and white faces made from different materials to suit varied working conditions and materials.
The powder-coated safety shell protects the tool from corrosion and mechanical damage while grooves in the housing secure the faces and handle during use. The hickory shaft has an ergonomic profile and a non-slip surface to improve grip and reduce user fatigue. Two types of faces are supplied: a medium-soft, wear-resistant black caoutchouc (rubber) face for tasks requiring some shock absorption, and a very hard, colourfast, wear-resistant white polyamide (nylon) face for harder impacts and precise setting work. The tool meets GS safety testing standards.
Select the face appropriate for the task: use the black rubber face when some cushioning is needed to protect tiles or delicate surfaces, and the white polyamide face for harder impacts where precision is required. Ensure the face and handle are properly seated in the grooved housing before use. Hold the hickory shaft with a secure grip on its non-slip surface and strike evenly to transfer controlled impact to the workpiece. After use, store the tool in a dry place to preserve the powder-coated housing and wooden shaft.
Inspect faces regularly for wear and replace them when deformation or excessive wear is visible. Use appropriate personal protective equipment for construction or landscaping tasks and avoid striking hardened metal edges with the rubber face to prevent damage.
