Torque screwdriver Wiha 2835 — single torque, weight 322 g
Wiha 2835 is a single-torque torque screwdriver designed to deliver a single, repeatable torque value for controlled tightening in assembly, maintenance and precision fastening tasks. Weighing 322 g, this tool combines a robust metal-plastic handle, a large digital display and an automatic release mechanism with a calibration alert, enabling consistent results and prevention of over‑tightening. The device conforms to DIN EN ISO 6789 and is compatible with Wiha 28369 series blades and standard 1/4" bits via its universal bit holder.
The torque value is set steplessly on a large digital scale and can be adjusted conveniently using a push button integrated in the ergonomically shaped handle. The screwdriver provides a distinctly audible and tactile click when the preset torque is reached and features Click Control with an integrated counter that records applications. Units can be switched between Nm, in.lbs, cNm and in.oz, and an automatic calibration alert is issued after the normative reference number of 5,000 applications. The tool offers ±6% accuracy traceable to national standards.
Set the required torque value using the large digital display and the push button in the handle, selecting the desired unit (Nm/in.lbs/cNm/in.oz). Insert a compatible 1/4" bit or a blade from the Wiha 28369 series into the universal bit holder. Apply the screwdriver to the fastener and rotate until the audible and tactile click indicates that the preset torque has been reached; the automatic release prevents further torque application. Monitor the integrated counter for application tracking and follow the calibration alert after the normative reference number of 5,000 applications to ensure ongoing accuracy.
Use the Wiha 2835 torque screwdriver together with the recommended interchangeable torque blades for optimum performance. Regularly check calibration status and reset the integrated counter as part of maintenance procedures. Store the tool in a dry, clean environment and avoid impacts to maintain accuracy and traceability.
