Analogue Wiha 411 210 8
The Analogue Wiha 411 210 8 caliper is an ESD-safe measuring instrument designed for precise outside, inside and depth measurements on electrostatically sensitive components. Constructed from a non-metallic high-tech material with 60% glass-fibre content, the caliper combines lightness and impact resistance while maintaining surface resistance in the 10^6–10^9 ohm range and compliance with IEC 61340-5-1.
The caliper’s ESD-safe, non-metallic construction reduces the risk of electrostatic discharge when working with sensitive electronics. Its impact-resistant dial is compact (Ø 35 mm) and can be recalibrated to zero. The instrument provides clear analogue readings with 0.1 mm resolution and one dial rotation corresponding to 10 mm, offering straightforward, reliable measurement feedback without batteries.
Place the caliper jaws on the feature to be measured (outside, inside or depth), read the main scale and then read the dial for the 0.1 mm increments. One full rotation of the dial equals 10 mm. If required, adjust the dial to zero by recalibrating the impact-resistant dial before taking measurements. Use the caliper on a clean, dry surface and avoid striking or bending the jaws to preserve accuracy.
Use the Analogue Wiha 411 210 8 in designated ESD protection zones or at ESD workstations, and periodically check calibration. Store the caliper in a protective case to prevent mechanical damage and maintain reliable measurements.
