L-shaped hex key Wiha 36521
The Wiha 36521 L-shaped hex key set contains 13 imperial-sized L-keys designed for reliable fastening and removal of hex (internal hexagon) screws. Blades are made from chrome-vanadium steel, through-hardened and chrome-plated for durability and corrosion resistance. The set is supplied in a space-saving ErgoStar holder with MagicRing® spring-steel retention and a ball end on the keys to allow angled access up to 25°.
The chrome-vanadium blades are through-hardened and chrome-plated to provide wear resistance and long life. The ErgoStar holder enables individual removal of a single L-key without moving the others, simplifying handling in confined spaces. MagicRing® holds screws securely at various angles and the ball end permits working at angles up to 25°, increasing accessibility in hard-to-reach locations. The set is made to ASME B18.3 standards for imperial hex sizes.
Select the correct imperial L-key for the screw size, remove it from the ErgoStar holder and insert the short or long arm into the internal hexagon. For screws in tight spaces or at an angle, use the ball end to engage the screw at up to 25°. Apply steady torque appropriate for the screw and material to avoid rounding. After use, return the key to the ErgoStar holder so the MagicRing® retains it securely.
Use the correct size from the Wiha 36521 set to prevent screw damage. Do not exceed recommended torque for small fasteners; if higher torque is required, use a longer arm or proper torque tool. Store the keys in the ErgoStar holder to keep them organized and to protect the ball ends and plating.
