Manual screwdriver set Wiha 36851
The Wiha 36851 manual screwdriver set includes a torque screwdriver designed for precise torque control for delicate and electronics-related tasks. The lightweight tool (approx. 138 g) features a variably adjustable torque mechanism delivered with a Torque-Setter setting tool and is compatible with the Wiha 2889-series interchangeable blades. The handle is made of an electrostatically dissipative multi-component material that meets ESD safety requirements and is supplied in a practical plastic box with a factory calibration certificate.
Infinitely adjustable torque allows use across a wide range of applications while the audible and tactile click signals when the preset torque is reached. The ESD-safe handle with surface resistance in the 10^6–10^9 ohm range protects electronic components from electrostatic damage. The patented SoftFinish® handle design reduces strain on hands and muscles and contributes to ergonomic handling. The tool is calibrated for accuracy and traceable to national standards.
Set the desired torque with the supplied Torque-Setter tool and attach a compatible 2889-series blade or Torx tip. Apply the screwdriver to the fastener and turn until the audible and perceptible click indicates the preset torque has been reached. Use steady, even pressure during tightening and avoid exceeding the set torque to prevent component or material damage.
Use the torque screwdriver in ESD-protected work areas and verify calibration periodically. Store the tool in its plastic case when not in use to protect the mechanism and include the calibration certificate in your quality documentation.
