L-shaped hex key Wiha 07922
The Wiha 07922 L-shaped hex key is a metric Allen key made for accessing fasteners in tight or hard-to-reach locations. It has a long arm of 19.5 cm and a short arm of 3.9 cm, offering leverage and reach in a single, lightweight (72 g) tool. The blade is made from chrome-vanadium steel, through-hardened and chrome-plated, and the tip features a ball end that permits engagement at angles up to 25°.
The hex key’s chrome-vanadium blade provides durability and wear resistance while chrome plating protects against corrosion. Its L-shaped design delivers strong torque on the long arm and quick access with the short arm. The ball end increases versatility by allowing angled entry up to 25°, and the compact, single-piece construction keeps the tool lightweight and easy to handle.
Insert the appropriate hex key tip fully into the screw head to ensure correct engagement. Use the long arm to gain leverage for loosening or tightening; use the short arm for access in limited-clearance situations. When encountering angled access, employ the ball end feature and maintain steady pressure while turning, keeping the maximum effective angle within 25° to avoid slippage.
Verify the hex size matches the screw before applying significant torque. Keep the tool clean and lightly lubricated to preserve the chrome plating. Avoid using the hex key as a pry bar or hammer to prevent blade damage.
