Wiha 26745 is a compact hand cable cutter designed for electrical and communication cable work. Constructed from high-quality C70 tool steel with chrome plating and inductive hardening, the tool has an overall length of 160 mm and weighs 237 g. How to use

Position the appropriate cutting or stripping area over the conductor and apply steady hand pressure until the conductor is cleanly cut or the insulation is removed. For stripping 1.5 mm² and 2.5 mm² single-wire conductors, use the precision stripping stations in the front cutting area and rotate the tool gently while maintaining light pressure. When cutting medium-hard or hard wire, use the rear cutting area near the joint for improved leverage. Inspect cutting edges periodically and keep the tool clean and lightly oiled to preserve the chrome-plated surface and hardness.

Usage recommendations

Use this insulated hand cable cutter only within its rated voltage limit (approved for 1,000 V AC) and inspect the insulation on the handle for damage before each use. Store the tool dry and avoid exposure to corrosive chemicals.
