The Witt Pizza Turning Peel is made from durable stainless steel and provides a flat 9" surface for placing and turning pizzas in the oven. It has a long handle and a slim profile designed to help you guide and rotate pizzas safely for more even baking at home.
Constructed from stainless steel for durability and easy cleaning, the 9" flat blade simplifies sliding under pizzas and turning them during baking. The extended handle improves control and oven reach while the lightweight design keeps maneuvers precise.
Because the blade is a flat 9" surface, the peel is less suitable for very large pizzas that extend well beyond the blade width or for lifting heavy, fully loaded pizzas. It also lacks a perforated or wooden surface, which some users prefer to reduce sticking or to absorb moisture.
Slide the flat stainless steel blade gently under the edge of a partially baked pizza or a pizza on a peel to rotate or reposition it in the oven. Use the long handle to maintain distance from oven heat and to control turning motions; keep movements smooth and confident to avoid tearing the base.
Preheat your stone or baking tray and use a light dusting of flour or semolina on the peel surface to reduce sticking; when turning, slide the blade under the pizza edge and rotate in one smooth motion to preserve the crust.
