Sanding Belts Wolfcraft 1916100
The Wolfcraft 1916100 sanding belts are abrasive belts designed for use with belt sanders to sand and finish wood and metal surfaces. Made with corundum abrasive on a cotton fabric backing, these belts offer flexibility, strength and high durability. The pack contains 9 sanding belts compatible with standard belt sanding machines and intended for both professional and DIY applications.
Corundum abrasive provides effective material removal and consistent finish on wood and metal. The cotton fabric substrate ensures flexibility and tear resistance, extending belt life under typical sanding conditions. The product is supplied in a pack of nine belts, offering multiple replacements for continued work without frequent reordering.
Select a belt grit appropriate for the task and install the belt on a compatible belt sander following the machine manufacturer's instructions. Ensure the belt is correctly aligned and tensioned before switching the sander on. Move the sander steadily over the workpiece with light, even pressure, keeping the tool in motion to avoid gouging. Replace the belt when abrasive performance decreases or damage is visible.
For best results, start with a coarser grit to remove material quickly, then progress to finer grits for finishing. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, dust mask and hearing protection) and secure the workpiece during sanding. Store belts in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight to maintain their condition.
