Hole saw by Wolfcraft model 1 standard — wolfcraft GmbH 2157000
Hole saw by Wolfcraft model 1 standard is a circular cutting tool designed to create precise round openings in materials such as wood, plastics and thin sheet materials. The tool attaches to a drill and is intended for tasks like installing power and distribution sockets, cavity sockets and other fittings that require accurate circular cutouts. The set includes a centring drill with a 6 mm diameter and is supplied on fixed card packaging.
The hole saw features a metal body for robust performance and stability during cutting. It is suitable for use in wood, gypsum plaster boards and construction panels, and is delivered with a centring drill ø 6 mm to ensure accurate starts and reduced wandering when beginning a cut. The packaging keeps the tool secure and visible for easy identification and handling.
Secure the hole saw to a compatible drill using the correct arbor or chuck and ensure the centring drill is fitted. Mark the centre point of the desired hole on the workpiece and align the centring drill with that mark. Start the drill at low speed to allow the centring drill to locate the position, then increase speed steadily while applying moderate, even pressure. Allow the tool to cut without forcing; withdraw occasionally to remove debris and avoid overheating. After cutting, clear the edges and remove any burrs as needed for a clean finish.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection) and select drill speeds suitable for the workpiece material. For thicker or harder materials, use progressive cutting and check compatibility with the drill and arbor. When working in metal or very hard plastics, ensure the hole saw and drill are rated for those materials to maintain safety and tool life.
