How to use

Attach the depth stop to the drill bit at the required position and secure it with the clamping mechanism. Fit the drill bit to a suitable drill or drill press configured for right-hand rotation. Position the workpiece and, if available, use a dowel jig or guide for alignment. Start drilling at low speed to allow the centre point to engage, then increase speed to complete the hole to the depth set by the stopper. Remove the bit and check the hole depth before inserting the dowel pin.
