Hole saw for conduit installation Wolfcraft 1 — 3476000
Hole saw for conduit installation Wolfcraft 1 is a circular cutting tool designed to create clean, round openings for conduit, pipe or cable entry during construction and renovation. The tool is suitable for use with standard hole saw arbors and intended for typical building materials where an accurate, reliable hole is required for routing electrical or plumbing installations. The product is supplied as a single conduit hole saw in a storage box on card.
The tool is intended for a wide range of installation work including sockets, distribution boxes and tubes. It is usable on brick walls, breeze blocks, plasterboard and tiles, offering versatility across many common building substrates. The cutting edge is coated with tungsten carbide for enhanced wear resistance and longer life compared with uncoated cutters. The delivery format includes a storage box which protects the tool and simplifies handling at the job site.
Mount the hole saw onto a compatible arbor and secure it according to the arbor manufacturers instructions. Mark the centre point of the required opening and position the pilot drill if available to maintain alignment. Begin drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed and apply steady pressure until the cutter passes through the material. For tiled or brittle surfaces, start on a slight angle and straighten as the cut progresses to reduce the risk of cracking. After cutting, remove debris and check the hole for burrs or rough edges before installing conduit or fittings.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection and gloves. For masonry or reinforced substrates, use suitable drilling power and cooling methods where applicable. Replace the hole saw if cutting performance declines or if significant wear to the carbide coating is visible. Store the tool in its box to protect the cutting edge when not in use.
