Hand saw Wolfcraft 1-board saw model 416100 by wolfcraft GmbH
Hand saw Wolfcraft 1-board saw model 416100 by wolfcraft GmbH is a manual cutting tool intended for straight cuts in boards, timber and similar materials. With a compact, portable design and a 350 mm blade, this one-board saw is suitable for carpentry, DIY projects and on-site work where electric tools are impractical. The saw is built with a hardened high-carbon steel (HCS) blade and conically ground, hardened tooth tips for stable cutting performance and is supplied in a sleeve for convenient storage.
The Wolfcraft 1-board saw offers versatility for cutting plasterboard, plastic and wood thanks to its 350 mm blade length and conically ground, hardened tooth tips. A durable impact-resistant plastic grip handle improves handling during manual sawing. The blade material (HCS) and a tooth spacing of 36 mm are selected to provide effective hand sawing for general-purpose woodcutting tasks. The product is supplied in a protective sleeve for easy transport and storage.
Hold the saw with a firm grip on the impact-resistant plastic handle and mark the cutting line on the workpiece. Position the blade against the marked line and start the cut with short, controlled forward strokes to establish a kerf. Continue with steady long strokes, maintaining even pressure and keeping the blade aligned with the cutting line for a straight cut. For plasterboard or plastic, use lighter pressure and a consistent rhythm to avoid tearing; for timber, allow the saw teeth to remove material without forcing the blade. After use, wipe the blade clean, protect the teeth with the provided sleeve and store in a dry place.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and work gloves. Secure the workpiece with clamps or a vice to prevent movement during cutting. For best results, choose cutting speeds and pressure suitable for the material: slower and steadier for plasterboard and plastic, and confident progressive strokes for wood. Regularly inspect and maintain the blade to keep the hardened teeth effective; replace when worn or damaged.
