How to use

Mark board edges with a carpenter's triangle to ensure correct positioning. Fit the desired drill bush (5, 6, 8 or 10 mm) into the drill slide from underneath and insert the slide into the corresponding 32 mm lock-in hole on the aluminium rail. Use the angle stops inserted under the profile to set the distance from the hole to the board edge (12–40 mm). For face or edge drilling, position the jig on the board edge or face, set the side stops to define the start and end of the dowel row, clamp the jig firmly with one-hand clamps, set a depth stop on the drill to control drilling depth, then drill the holes. For corner butt joints, clamp one board vertically, align the lateral stop with the board edge using the carpenter's triangle, secure the jig and drill the first hole; record the scale position to reproduce the alignment on the mating board and drill corresponding holes.
