Wolfcraft single bi-metal hole saw, 9.2 cm diameter, designed for direct mounting in a cordless screwdriver. The tool features a specially alloyed BiM (bimetal) body with high-speed steel (HSS) teeth and includes a 6 mm HSS centring drill. It is intended for cutting a range of materials including non-ferrous metals, steel, plasterboard, plastic, plywood and wood and is supplied in a storage box on card as a single-piece set.

How to use

Secure the cordless screwdriver in a stable position and mount the hole saw directly onto its chuck according to the screwdriver manufacturer’s instructions. Mark the centre of the required hole on the workpiece, engage the 6 mm HSS centring drill to start, and apply steady, even pressure while running the tool at appropriate speed for the material being cut. Reduce speed and clear chips when cutting metals or dense plywood to avoid overheating. After cutting, retract the saw and remove any remaining slug from the hole saw.

Usage recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment including safety glasses and gloves. For clean edges in plasterboard and soft plastics use moderate speed; for metals and dense wood increase torque but keep speed lower and pause periodically to cool the cutting edge. Inspect the HSS teeth before use and replace the tool when signs of wear reduce cutting performance.
