Cutting Tool wolfcraft VLC 800 Black
The wolfcraft VLC 800 vinyl and laminate cutter is a manual cutting tool designed for tradespeople and DIYers who need precise, dust-free cuts of laminate and vinyl floor boards. It cuts standard laminate up to 11 mm thick and boards up to 465 mm wide. The tool also handles vinyl boards from 2 mm to 11 mm thickness, including 100% vinyl panels, vinyl with HDF base layers and footfall sound insulation, and self-adhesive vinyl owing to its specially coated blade. Operation produces minimal noise and dust and requires no power supply.
The VLC 800 features a high-quality laser-cut smooth blade with an optimized blade-to-gap geometry that delivers precise, clean cutting edges. An adjustable cutting gap and cutting bars allow processing of thin vinyl (approx. 2–5 mm). A holding-down clamp on the cutting lever secures boards against integrated serrated cutter bars to prevent slipping or jamming during angular cuts (0°–180°) or continuous longitudinal cuts. An aluminium profile includes a stop for cutting vinyl strips down to 55 mm width for use in special skirting boards. Compact dimensions and a robust black frame provide easy handling and durable performance.
Place the board on the cutter with the intended cutting line aligned to the blade gap and, if necessary, adjust the cutting bars to match the material thickness (especially for thin vinyl around 2–5 mm). Lower the cutting lever to engage the holding-down clamp and press the board firmly against the serrated cutter bars. Make a single decisive cutting motion for a clean edge, or perform free angular cuts between 0° and 180° as required. For narrow strips, use the aluminium profile stop to guide cuts to 55 mm width. No electricity is needed; maintain a steady, even pressure to avoid slipping.
For best results, check blade condition regularly and replace it when dull. Clean the cutting gap from adhesive residues after processing self-adhesive vinyl. Use the holding-down clamp and serrated bars for secure fixation during angled and long cuts. Follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions and wear appropriate hand protection when handling the blade.
