Plunge saw blade Wolfcraft Expert HCS 65 mm Starlock
Plunge saw blade Wolfcraft Expert HCS 65 mm Starlock
Wolfcraft Expert HCS plunge saw blade with a 65 mm cutting diameter is designed for controlled plunge cuts and precise short-depth incisions in wood and similar soft materials. Constructed from high carbon steel (HCS) for a balance of sharpness and flexibility, the blade uses the Starlock mounting system for secure, vibration-minimised attachment to compatible oscillating multi-tools. Its compact diameter and tooth geometry allow accurate trimming, joinery work and renovation tasks where confined or internal cuts are required.
The blade’s HCS construction offers consistent cutting performance in softwoods, plywood and laminates while maintaining resistance to premature chipping during plunge operations. Starlock mounting ensures quick, tool-free changes and a locked connection that reduces slip and improves power transfer. The 65 mm diameter enables access in tight spaces and controlled cutting depths for precise results without overcutting.
Fit the Wolfcraft Expert HCS blade into the Starlock interface of a compatible oscillating multi-tool until it locks in place. Mark the plunge location on the workpiece and secure the material to prevent movement. Start the tool at low speed to establish the cut, then apply steady pressure to maintain control while increasing speed as needed. Withdraw the blade periodically for cleaning when cutting adhesive-laminated panels or dusty materials to preserve cutting performance. After use, remove the blade by releasing the Starlock lock and store it in a dry place.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection and dust extraction when cutting. Match the feed speed and tool oscillation setting to the material: slower feed and medium speed for laminated panels, moderate feed and higher speed for solid softwoods. Avoid cutting metals or very hard materials to prevent premature wear or damage to the HCS blade.
