The Wolfcraft Flooring Tool (model WF6975000) is a three-piece set for laying laminate and design flooring. The kit includes a tapping block, a pulling ledge and 30 universal wedges. The tapping block has a longitudinal profile that protects tongue-and-groove joints while enabling targeted hammer blows to pull planks tightly together. The metal pulling ledge is intended for use near walls: position it in the gap between wall and board and tap it in the pulling direction to align the rows. Thirty reusable plastic wedges create a constant expansion gap around the floor and can be combined to form either a flat spacer or a larger wedge.

How to use

Place the tapping block against the face of a plank and apply a measured hammer blow to the contact surface to close gaps without damaging the tongue-and-groove. For areas adjacent to walls, insert the pulling ledge into the gap between wall and board and tap it in the pulling direction until the row is aligned. Use the felt-protected underside to avoid surface damage. Combine the universal wedges and snap them together to preset the desired expansion gap, insert them around the perimeter of the room and adjust as needed. The latching mechanism will keep wedges at the selected thickness during installation.

Usage recommendations

Use a soft-faced hammer when tapping the block or pulling ledge to minimise marks.
