Carbon Monoxide Detector X-Sense CO03D with LCD display and 85 dB alarm
Carbon Monoxide Detector X-Sense CO03D with LCD display and 85 dB alarm
The X-Sense CO03D with LCD display and 85 dB alarm is a battery-powered carbon monoxide detector designed for continuous indoor monitoring. It uses a Figaro electrochemical sensor to measure CO concentrations from 30 to 999 ppm and shows real-time readings on a clear LCD. Color LED indicators (green, yellow, red) communicate power and alarm status, and the audible alarm (≥85 dB at 1 m) alerts occupants when thresholds are exceeded. The unit accepts three replaceable 1.5 V AA alkaline batteries and includes a test and mute function for routine checks and temporary silencing.
The X-Sense CO03D delivers precise electrochemical sensing with a wide detection range and a readable LCD for immediate status awareness. Multiple visual indicators combined with a loud audible alarm reduce the chance of missed alerts. Replaceable AA batteries simplify maintenance and extend service life, while EN 50291 and UL 2034 certification and CE/BSI approvals confirm compliance with recognized safety standards. Compact dimensions and lightweight construction allow flexible mounting in homes and apartments.
Install the X-Sense CO03D on a wall or ceiling at a location recommended by local safety guidelines, ideally near sleeping areas and fuel-burning appliances but not directly above heat sources. Insert the three supplied AA alkaline batteries and perform the built-in test to confirm correct operation. The LCD will display current CO concentration in ppm; green, yellow or red LEDs indicate normal operation or alarm status. If the alarm sounds, follow local emergency procedures: ventilate the area, turn off fuel-burning appliances if safe to do so, evacuate occupants, and seek fresh air. Replace batteries when the low-battery indicator appears and replace the unit at the end of its service life.
Mount the detector according to manufacturer guidance and local codes, avoid placing it directly above stoves or heaters to prevent false readings, test the device regularly using the test function, and replace batteries promptly when low-battery alerts appear. Replace the detector at the end of its rated lifespan to ensure continued reliable detection of carbon monoxide.
