Adhesive FabricGrip Mat for xTool M1 by xTool — pink, pack of 2
The Adhesive FabricGrip Mat for xTool M1 by xTool — pink, pack of 2 is a replacement self-adhesive work surface designed for use with the xTool M1 desktop laser/knife cutter. Each pack contains two pink adhesive mats that attach to the M1 bed to hold fabrics and thin materials securely in place during cutting or engraving operations. The sticky surface reduces slippage and improves cut accuracy for textile projects, appliqué, sewing components and small-run production tasks where material movement would affect results.
The FabricGrip mats provide a uniform tack across the work area to stabilise lightweight and flexible materials, supporting cleaner cuts and finer detail when using the xTool M1. Being replacement adhesive mats, they allow quick refresh of the work surface without tools and minimise downtime. The supplied pack of two gives a spare mat for alternating use or faster replacement between projects.
This adhesive FabricGrip mat is intended for lightweight to moderately thin materials. It may not provide sufficient hold for heavy, rigid or thick substrates such as dense plastics, hardwoods or thick leathers. Strong adhesives or residues on previously used materials can reduce tack over time, so mats that have reached the end of their effective life should be replaced.
Peel the protective backing and align the adhesive mat on the xTool M1 work bed, pressing firmly to ensure full contact across the surface. Place the fabric or thin material onto the sticky surface and smooth out wrinkles or folds before starting a job. After cutting or engraving, gently lift the material from the mat; if required, clean residual fibres from the mat surface to restore tack or replace the mat when adhesion diminishes.
Store spare mats flat in a dust-free environment and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. For best results, clean the adhesive surface of fibres and dust between jobs using a soft brush or low-tack tape. Replace mats when adhesion noticeably decreases to maintain cutting accuracy with the xTool M1.
