Heat shrink tube Yato YT-06866
Yato YT-06866 heat shrink tubing is a pack of 127 black tubes designed to insulate and protect electrical connections and wiring. Manufactured from heat-reactive polymer material, these tubes contract uniformly when exposed to heat, forming a tight, protective covering. The product is intended for use where secure electrical insulation, strain relief and environmental protection are required for cables, joints and terminals.
The heat shrink tube provides reliable mechanical protection and electrical insulation while reducing the risk of short circuits. Its construction offers resistance to moisture, common chemicals and abrasion, improving long-term durability. Uniform shrinkage ensures a close fit around irregular shapes, and the black color gives a discreet, professional finish. The pack contains multiple tube pieces to cover a variety of repair and installation tasks.
Slide a suitably sized tube over the cable or joint before making the final connection. After the connection is completed, position the tube centrally over the exposed area and apply heat evenly using a heat gun, hot-air tool or suitable heat source until the tube contracts and forms a tight seal. Allow the tube to cool to achieve full mechanical and insulating properties. Trimming to length can be done before or after shrinking as required.
Choose a tube diameter that is slightly larger than the unshrunk cable diameter to ensure proper coverage, and heat evenly to avoid localized overheating. For applications requiring higher chemical or temperature resistance, verify material compatibility with the specific environment and consider using tubes specified for those conditions.
