Screwdriver Bit Holder Yato YT-1297 Chromium-Vanadium Steel 25.4 / 4 mm
Screwdriver Bit Holder Yato YT-1297 Chromium-Vanadium Steel 25.4 / 4 mm
The Yato YT-1297 Screwdriver Bit Holder is manufactured from Chromium-Vanadium (Cr-V) steel and provides a secure connection between power tool or hand-driver and interchange able screwdriver bits. With a 1/4" (25.4 / 4 mm) hex shank and a compact overall length of 24 mm, this bit holder is intended for precise positioning and reliable torque transfer while remaining lightweight at 14 g.
The Cr‑V steel construction offers good resistance to wear and deformation under regular use, maintaining the geometry of the holder and its hex profile. The 1/4" hex shank is compatible with standard quick‑change chucks and bit holders, enabling fast bit swaps and stable retention during drilling or driving operations. The short 24 mm length improves access in confined spaces and reduces leverage that could lead to wobble or slippage.
Insert the 1/4" hex shank of the YT‑1297 into the chuck or bit holder of your screwdriver or drill until it seats securely. Push a compatible 1/4" bit into the holder until it locks or is retained by the holder mechanism. Use steady pressure when driving screws to maintain bit engagement and avoid excessive side load. Remove the bit by pulling it straight out or releasing the quick‑change collar, depending on the tool's chuck design. Keep the holder clean and free from debris to ensure consistent seating and retention.
For longest service life, avoid subjecting the holder to impact loads beyond standard driving torque, and periodically inspect for signs of wear or deformation. Match the bit type and size to the fastener to reduce cam‑out and minimize wear on both bit and holder.
